Cody Hesse came to Valdosta Wake Compound and spent more time there than any other park. This experience gave Cody a chance to ride almost every board and the Codyak is his vision. Choosing his favorite features and working with Aaron Stumpf to ensure the best build possible, this is by far his favorite shape ever. TECHNICAL DETAILS
WOODY CORE
The perfect core for park boards with a lived-in feel and ingrained durability. 100% Light Paulownia is the meat in this gourmet sandwich, 20% lighter than the competition.
ABRUPT CONTINUOUS ROCKER
This rocker line adds a little more kick to the speed that so many riders are looking for. The Abrupt Continuous rocker line transitions into a slightly exaggerated tip and tail rocker, creating added pop without sacrificing speed in the slipstream.
VARIABLE EDGE DESIGN
Edge shapes that differ across the tip of the tail, most often shifting to sharper edges near the tip and tail to a more forgiving, rounded or beveled shape below the stance.
REINFORCED POSITION
Additional fiberglass laminates to the posture platform manage flexibility between your feet while increasing flexibility in the toe and tail.
SINTERED BASE
Our sintered base material is the strongest, most durable racing surface we offer. The sintered formula undergoes a process that creates a strong bond between particles, making the finished product nearly indestructible. This basic option is the perfect choice for the cable car season pass holder.
URETHANE WALL
Molded urethane flexes perfectly with a wakeboard and bonds to top and base laminates for a super sturdy fully bonded construction.
FLAT TIP/BACK BASE DESIGN
A minimal form approach offering a solid connection to the features while pressing or a loose feel on a skim style surfer.
WEIGHTED PHILOSOPHY
Advances in panel construction have reduced the overall weight of the panels, keeping swing weight to a minimum. Combined with today's wake sizes, this evolution means it's time to ride a larger board offering more pop and airtime as well as more stable and secure landings.
