It opens completely so you can see all your belongings and has a spacious 71 liters of volume. If you have loaded it too much, tighten the four compression straps and you will save some more space. A zippered pocket on the end of the bag separates dirty shoes and wet clothes from the rest of the main compartment to further save space. A mesh pocket gives you additional storage space.
